NURSING PROGRAM (BSC)

Program Overview

All Saints University offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program which can be completed in under 3 years (2 years and 8 months) due to back-to-back semesters without summer breaks. This program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in nursing, combining theoretical knowledge with practical clinical experience.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Accelerated Completion: The program can be completed in as little as under 3 years (2 years and 8 months)
Accreditation: Fully approved by the General Nursing Council of Dominica, providing a pathway to NCLEX examinations in North America.
Pathway to Medicine: Students completing the BSN program may be eligible to transfer into the 4-Year or 5-Year MD Program at All Saints University upon completion of all prerequisite courses
NCLEX Eligibility: Graduates may pursue licensure and practice as registered nurses in North America.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess a high school/secondary school diploma or certificate with credits in:

Mathematics
English
Biology
And two additional subjects, such as Chemistry, Physics, etc.

CURRICULUM STRUCTURE

Foundational Courses

Duration: First 2-3 semesters (16 weeks each)
Focus: Core sciences, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and introductory nursing theory.

Advanced Nursing Courses & Clinical Rotations

Duration: Semesters 3-8 (16 weeks each)
Focus: Specialized nursing practice, patient care, pharmacology, community health, and leadership in nursing.
Clinical Experience: Hands-on practice in affiliated hospitals and healthcare facilities, preparing students for professional licensure and NCLEX eligibility.
